Playday

This past week-end was a mixture of business and playtime.

Friday evening after reviewing our weekend I made a decision to make sure fun was included.

In the past few months, I have worked on the weekends trying to meet goals or catch up.

As I edit my life once again there is a need for more quality time call play.

Saturday after the funeral and a few other things, my husband and I drove to the beach.

There is something about being near the water that I love.

We are on the East Coast so the temperature was in the high 40s almost 50 degrees.

The sun was shining and everything felt right as we drove down.

There was no wind when we got out to walk on the sand, so the kid in me was really stirred.

As we walked on the sand and looked over the water, I was filled with such joy to be in the moment.

For me it was perfect.

We laughed, played, and enjoyed each other.

I recall saying over and over how beautiful the day was to be near the water without fighting the breeze.

It was not about how much we did, but the point of being there.

The rest of my day called for responsibilities and I was more than happy to do them.

What was your weekend like?

Share one thing you did that you really wanted to do.

Look forward to hearing back from you:)

Happy Monday!
